Reimagining Freshman Year

The number of students enrolling in universities and colleges this year is 1.7% lower than it was last year, and only 66% of high school graduates immediately enroll in college.

There are many reasons why one may decide not to attend college; it can stem from not being eligible to get into a well recognized institution to not being able to afford the costs, despite availability of financial aid programs.

But, what if you could take your freshman year online from one of the top universities in America, only paying a fraction of the cost of traditional on campus freshman courses, regardless of your eligibility?

EdX has partnered with Arizona State University to create the Global Freshman Academy, a first of its kind, online learning program that serves as a unique way to start your undergraduate education. The GFA offers credit eligible courses that are cost effective.

To receive credit, you simply enroll in the appropriate credit eligible courses, select the verified track (only $49) to ensure your credit eligibility, and when the course is over and you have passed with a C or better, you will be able to purchase credit for $600 per course.  Your transcript will be from ASU.

You can use these credits either at ASU or anywhere else ASU credits are accepted.

All this, for half the costs and no barriers whatsoever.
